Breakfast & Afterschool Clubs

Breakfast Club

This takes place each school day as part of our commitment to providing high quality and affordable wraparound care.  Children are provided with a healthy breakfast of toast, cereals, fruit and cold drinks and they engage fun and activities before the school day starts.

Children can arrive from 7:45 am and must be brought to the sports hall entrance. Each session costs £1.00 and must be pre-booked and paid for in advance.

After School Clubs

At Corpus Christi, we ensure that all children have the opportunity to continue their learning and development journey beyond the classroom by offering a host of extracurricular clubs and activities. These may change throughout the year to increase the opportunities available but also due to seasonal restrictions. A selection of clubs that we are running this year are listed below:

Science Club – This club takes place every Tuesday afternoon between 3.05pm and 4.00pm. Children develop their scientific mindsets by completing a host of experiments and practical activities that will allow them to see science in action. All children are welcome to attend but consent must be provided using the Arbor App or by contacting the school office on 01642 211597 in advance of the session starting

Lego Robotics Club – Key Stage 2 (KS2) – This club takes place every Tuesday afternoon between 3.05pm and 4.00pm. Children harness their creative mindsets while gaining real-world problem-solving experience through guided, global robotics activites. All children in Key Stage 2 (KS2) are welcome to attend but consent must be provided using the Arbor App or by contacting the school office on 01642 211597 in advance of the session starting

Sewing Club – Key Stage 1 (KS1) – This club takes place every Tuesday afternoon between 3.05pm and 4.00pm. Children take part in a range of guided sewing and crafts activities to develop their creative thinking skills. The intricate control of sewing helps children learn how to use their hands and fingers with precision and how to use small items with ease. These fine motor skills are vital qualities that help children write and draw with pens and pencils in school. All children in Key Stage 1 (KS1) are welcome to attend but consent must be provided using the Arbor App or by contacting the school office on 01642 211597 in advance of the session starting

Key Stage 1 (KS1) Multisports After School Club – This club takes place every Thursday afternoon between 3.05pm and 4.00pm. Children will participate in a host of sporting activities, developing their fitness, agility, strength and coordination along with communication, teamwork and problem solving skills. All children in Key Stage 1 (KS1) are welcome to join but consent must be provided using the Arbor App or by contacting the school office on 01642 211597 in advance of the session starting. Children are collected from the sports hall entrance at the end of each session.

Year 3 – Key Stage 2 (KS2) Multisports After School Club – This club takes place every Monday afternoon between 3.05pm and 4.00pm. Children will participate in a host of sporting activities, developing their fitness, agility, strength and coordination along with communication, teamwork and problem solving skills. All children in Year 3 are welcome to join but consent must be provided using the Arbor App or by contacting the school office on 01642 211597 in advance of the session starting. A little message from Miss Johnston 💜

I just want to say a huge thank you for all of the thought and effort that has gone into today… It was the most amazing surprise and I feel so so lucky to be a part of the Corpus Christi family💜

Parents and carers, I am so grateful for your kind words, notes/cards and gifts. Although it's goodbye for now, it's not goodbye forever!
